August 3
Captain Bill Gallagher 10-Mile Island Run
5:30pm, 44th St. & Promenade
Join the SICBP and test your endurance at the 49th annual Captain Bill Gallagher 10-Mile Island Run. Held rain or shine, runners will be computer chip-timed for the race that is held on the beach and the Promenade with the finish line at the beach patrol headquarters. The awards ceremony will take place after the race at the headquarters, approximately 7:15pm.

August 6
National Night Out
6-8pm, Excursion Park
Sea Isle City joins communities around the globe in this annual event. Sponsored by the Sea Isle City Police Department, the local event will feature several safety organizations such as the police department, fire department, ambulance corps and beach patrol, as families participate in a mix of fun and educational activities. To cap off the night, pick a spot on the lawn for the National Night Out Movie showing of “Incredibles 2” at 8:30pm.

Sea Isle City Wiffle Classic
10am-6pm, Dealy Field (Rain date: Aug. 11)
Play ball! The Sea Isle City Wiffle Classic, held in support of Autism Speaks, is open to all skill levels and features awards for first, second, third and fourth place. Awards will also be presented to the Best Team Name, Fun Stars and Best Uniform. Each team is guaranteed at least four games. Register online at seaislewiffclassic.com. Check-in will begin at 9am and the first pitch will fly at 10:02am.

Full Moon Beach Yoga
7:30-8:30pm, 29th Street beach
Strike a pose in the sand during the third Full Moon Beach Yoga of the summer! All are invited to join certified instructor Teri O’Connor for a fun and engaging yoga session. All levels will enjoy beach yoga flow moon salutations and full moon meditation as you watch the moon rise over the ocean. There is no need to sign up ahead of time, just bring your towel or a yoga mat and sign in when you arrive.

Free Family Movies Under the Stars (Mondays)

Kick off your week in Sea Isle City with animated hits on the big screen. Families are encouraged to bring their beach chairs and blankets and pick a spot on the lawn to enjoy showings of family-friendly pictures that are sure to have everyone laughing and enjoying time together.
Farmers Market (Tuesdays)

Grab a cup of coffee and head over to Excursion Park every Tuesday morning through Aug. 27 for the weekly Farmers Market. Featuring fresh and local produce, several craft vendors and more, each week you are sure to find just want you are looking for and even items you didn’t know you needed.
Guided Beachcombing
Tuesdays (29th Street beach) and Thursdays (94th Street beach) 10-11am, weather permitting, $1, June 25-Aug. 29
Become an official beachcomber this summer as you tour the beaches in search of shells, rocks and wildlife every Tuesday and Thursday through Aug. 29. With help from tour guides, children and families of all ages will enjoy this fun, educational morning activity.
Free Family Dance Party (Tuesdays)

Get ready to “twist and shout.” Families will sing, dance and clap along as the DJ spins popular hits and old favorites.
Acoustic Open Mic Night (Wednesdays)
9-11pm (July 10-Aug. 21)
Teenagers and young adults, ages 14-20 will enjoy several activities every Wednesday through Aug. 21. Whether you choose to take the stage and show off your acoustic talent, check out the Xbox video game truck, or gather a team for the cornhole tournament, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Free Music in the Park (Thursdays)

Experience live entertainment on Thursdays this summer. You won’t want to miss the lively lineup of bands this August including the Where’s Pete Band on Aug. 1, Party Wave Band on Aug. 8, Philly Blue Soul on Aug. 15, Central Park the Band on Aug. 22 and Goody Blue Shoes on Aug. 29. This incredible lineup is sure to get your toes tapping and hips swaying as you sing along to all your favorites.

Free Concerts Under the Stars (Saturdays)

Saturdays call for dinner and a show! Dine out, then make your way to Excursion Park every Saturday night for Free Concerts Under the Stars. Travel through the decades and different musical genres with tribute bands scheduled for August covering the music of Steely Dan, Neil Diamond, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
