Aug. 3
National Night Out
6-8pm, Excursion Park
Gather the family and head to Excursion Park for an amazing opportunity to learn more about the brave roles that various first responders play in Sea Isle City! National Night Out will be a night filled with food, games, and the chance to interact with many of our first responders. While you are there, you can enjoy a bounce house, dunk tank, photo booth, face painters, and so much more. There will even be a display of police and fire vehicles, so you definitely won’t want to miss it!

Aug. 14
Bill Liddell Men’s Basketball Tournament
9am-6pm, JFK Courts
Lace up those sneakers and get ready to hit the courts at JFK for a round-robin style men’s basketball tourney! Teams of five to eight players can register for this event at $150 per team (cash or check only). T-shirts are included in this price, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament for the winning team. Make sure to use the link below for registration.

Captain Bill Gallagher 10-Mile Island Run
5:45pm, 44th Street & the boardwalk
On your mark, get set, go! Hosted by the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol, this 10-mile run takes place on a traffic-free, flat course that starts at the beach patrol headquarters. The run will include approximately 2½ miles on blacktop macadam boardwalk, and the remaining distance will be completed on the beach. There will be refreshments at the finish line, plenty of water stations, and toilet facilities located at the start and finish of the race. There will also be several award categories, so make sure to bring your “A” game! Check out the link below for registration details.

Full Moon Beach Yoga

It’s time to roll out those yoga mats and get ready to ease your mind and soul! Led by certified yoga instructor Teri O’Connor, Full Moon Beach Yoga is an amazing opportunity to move your body and get some exercise under the stars. People at all levels of yoga are welcome, so it is the perfect opportunity for anyone who has been wanting to give yoga a try. There is no fee, but online registration is required. Namaste!

Have you ever wondered what kind of hidden treasures can be found along Sea Isle City’s beaches? Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, beachgoers of all ages can come search the beach for washed-up finds, all while learning about the unique ecosystem along the beach. It’s free, but participants need to register at 29th Street and the Promenade on Tuesdays and the Townsends Inlet Park parking lot on Thursdays.
