Come compete in Baggo to support local charities. Each year the event raises $10,000 for Mike's Seafood Run/Walk for Autism and other select charities as well. In addition to Baggo, there is music, food, drinks and raffles.

Captain Bill Gallagher 10 Mile Island Run

In this 10-mile race, 2½ miles are on the boardwalk, the remainder on the beach. Online early bird registration is $30 and closes at 11pm Aug. 3. Race week registration is $40 and closes Aug. 10 at 4:30pm. High-quality, heavyweight print T-shirts will be given to the first 1,000 online registrants. The awards ceremony will be held at the beach patrol headquarters at 7:30pm. Cancellations will be posted at sicbp.com at 4:30pm the day of the event.

Wedding of the Sea Procession & Festival

Celebrate the Feast of the Assumption with St. Joseph Church. Immediately following the 4pm Mass, a procession to the beach for the traditional blessing of the ocean will take place. After the blessing, participants are invited to the Parish Life Center parking lot where the annual festival will feature hot food, games, and a silent auction. Tickets are now available.

Villanova Baseball Charity Softball Game
