Concert Under the Stars

The season finale of this weekly event features Jesse Garron’s Elvis Presley tribute. Garron, who has been performing his Elvis tribute since 1997, will be backed by live musicians and female vocalists. You’ll hear rock, pop, gospel and oldies music that gives the show a universal appeal.

Join NJ Beach Yoga for its 10th annual “Pose for Peace” event on Labor Day in support of the National Epilepsy Foundation. All levels are welcome to join and help send a wave of peace to the world. During the event, attendees will form the shape of a peace sign, symbolic of sending a wave of peace to those who need help.

Patriot Day Ceremony: September 11th Remembered

Sea Isle City will honor those who died on Sept. 11, 2001 during its annual Patriot Day Ceremony. The event will offer speeches, patriotic hymns, and a wreath-laying ceremony with local first responders, county officials, religious leaders, and community members in attendance.

The annual POW-MIA Recognition Day Ceremony is led by members of the Cape May County American Legion. All are welcome to attend and join the ceremony in remembering the nation’s prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action.

Proceeds from this race will benefit the Cape Regional Foundation and will provide funding for the Robert J. Sorenson Employee Education Fund as well as the Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship Fund.

Beach Cleanup

Help scour the beaches for trash and debris and spend the morning volunteering with the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission for its annual beach cleanup. Volunteers will be provided with trash bags and gloves before they set out to clean up. The rain date is Oct. 15.

Leif’s Legacy 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk

Jen and Brian Larsen, of Sea Isle City and Skagway, Alaska, founded their nonprofit and this event in memory of their son, Leif Aleutian. The event raises awareness of premature birth and infant death and supports research and care for infants and babies. Proceeds will benefit two medical facilities: Shore Medical Center’s Special Care Nursery in Somers Point, and pediatric care at the Dahl Memorial Clinic in Skagway.

If you love fall this is the event for you! Bring the family to the 2nd annual Harvest Classic and enjoy pumpkin decorating, hayrides on the beach, live music and more. Local businesses will pop up at Excursion Park throughout the day and attendees are encouraged to drive throughout town to check out the Scarecrow Contest at each participating business. Choose a theme and dress up your car and yourself for a spooky good time at Sea Isle City’s Trunk or Treat. Everyone is welcome to distribute candy from car trunks or open tailgates.
