Summer is here! As we head into July and have regained some sense of normalcy during this pandemic, we are excited to see the new businesses that have decided to make Sea Isle City their home. With new fitness spaces and construction options opening their doors, we met up with the owners to bring you the latest buzz within the business community.

Stride Sea Isle held an open house in its new studio at 3500 Boardwalk, Store 9 on June 12. Tori DeSimone is excited to be opening her second location at the shore this summer. Her first location is in Phoenixville, Pa.
“Growing up, I always spent my summers at the Jersey Shore,” DeSimone says. “When I got really involved with spin and exercise, I felt like a huge part of my day and sanity was missing when I went on vacation because I could not spin. Spin is what makes me happy, and Sea Isle is my happy place, so combining the two seemed like a no-brainer to me. Sea Isle is Stride’s exact demographic, and I am really excited to bring the community of Stride to the community of Sea Isle.”
Stride was established in August 2018 by DeSimone and her co-owner of the Phoenixville location, Jess Vierow. The business partners met in 2016 at a studio where Jess was Tori’s instructor.
“I fell in love with how empowered I felt in Spin, I knew I wanted to open my own one day, and who better to do it with that then one that made me love it?” says DeSimone. “Jess and I opened Phoenixville together in 2018, and since then she has been nothing but encouraging of me to pursue my dreams of putting a Stride everywhere! This is location 2 of many more to come.”
Stride Sea Isle will offer Rhythmic Spin, which takes place in a dark room with only the light of candles and blacklight. The mind, body and soul experience features an encouraging and empowering instructor and loud, energizing music for an awesome workout to start your day.
When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, the spin studio will be open daily and the schedule of classes is available on the business’ app and its website, stridespinandfitness.com.

his seventh location this spring in Sea Isle City. The business has been providingfull-service roofing and property services for more than 20 years.
“I started the business doing residential services and for the last 15 years did mostly commercial,” Rankin says. “Now we are back doing both so our clients can have CPR perform their services both on our clients’ commercial buildings as well as their homes.”
A Philadelphia native, Rankin is a husband and father of three children. He graduated from Father Judge High School and attended Community College of Philadelphia and Temple University.
The company’s headquarters are in Chalfont, Pa., and its seven strategically placed offices operate in 23 states along the East Coast.
