Memorial Day Ceremony Set for Veterans Park

Sea Isle City will mark Memorial Day with a 10am ceremony at Veterans Park, JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue. All are invited to attend.

There will be patriotic music, and Mayor Leonard Desiderio will be the host once again. Local and county officials will be there, along with veterans from VFW Post 1963 (including Post 1963’s Color Guard) and members of Post 1963’s Auxiliary, as well as local religious leaders.

Afterwards, members of Boy Scout Troop 76 will lead a procession to the JFK Boulevard beach, where SIC lifeguards will row flowers beyond the breakers for a Naval Tribute.
