What should campers expect: The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City started a tradition of sailing with friends and family in 1940 and now opens its tradition of sailing and appreciation for the water to the public. For years, this private club allows for non-members to join its prestigious sailing club and participate in week-long lessons enjoying a day in the bay. Campers ages 8 and up will learn to safely catch the wind and cruise the back bays while gaining lifelong friendships and an important appreciation of the water. All skill levels are welcome and each camper will be paired with a certified instructor who will start with basic lessons on rigging and tacking, and water safety. Intermediate and advanced classes will be given the opportunity to sail a Sunfish, OPTI, Laser and 420, and participate in weekly competitions and races with local area clubs.

Highlights: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, class size is limited, so be sure to register quickly for this great opportunity. Camp is held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with optional racing every Thursday (intermediate and advanced levels).
