Letter from the Publisher
Dear Readers:
Wow, does it ever feel good to say that. Welcome back to our magnificent beaches, to our stunning bays, to that fresh salt air and all of the places that have become like a second home to so many – especially this past year.
Needless to say, the past 14 months have been challenging to everyone, in so many ways. Hopefully the summer of 2021 can bring some normalcy back into all of our lives. And that’s part of the magic of the Jersey Shore. Through so many changing times, Sea Isle City has remained a constant, consistent place in so many lives.
Even though it’s been several months since our Endless Summer 2020 issue, our staff has been busy. We’ve been working on planning each upcoming issue – I’m really excited because we’ve got some great stories and features planned for this year. That said, we’d love to hear from you and any ideas that you might have.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t take just a moment to pass along our thanks. First, to our amazingly loyal advertisers. They’ve enabled us to enter 2021, our 18th year of publishing exclusively for Sea Isle City and Strathmere. That obviously would not be possible without our advertisers. Despite these difficult times, our loyal advertising base has enabled us to keep our staff intact throughout the pandemic. Our families thank you. Our advertisers are all small, family-owned businesses and we respectfully ask that you consider supporting them and their families by shopping local this summer.
More than anything, our heartfelt thanks go out to you, our readers. Eighteen years doesn’t happen easily. And it certainly doesn’t happen without you. With our print circulation combined with our digital reach, simply put, there is no better or more effective way to reach more consumers in Sea Isle City than through the Sea Isle Times. And best of all, the Sea Isle Times is still free! Thanks for keeping the Sea Isle Times the most popular publication here in Sea Isle City.
So, for now smile, enjoy the sun, the surf and all that Sea Isle City has to offer. It’s time to reconnect with your family and friends. And let’s toast to what we all hope will be an amazing Summer of 2021. Don’t forget to mask up.
See you on the beach!
