Sea Isle’s 4th of July Events
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Sea Isle City with a jam-packed day of fun family activities.
The day kicks off at Dealy Field with the Junior Olympics at 9:30am. This longstanding tradition in Sea Isle City allows children ages 3 to 13 to participate in friendly competitions including throwing, running, and jumping, with assistance from volunteers from the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City. At the end of the event, gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three participants in each competition in a photo-worthy ceremony. Parents are reminded to bring bottled water, hats, sunscreen and, of course, your camera to capture these memorable moments.
Following an active morning, make plans to enjoy Sea Isle’s beautiful beaches and unique shopping and dining opportunities before the nighttime activities!
The Independence Day concert featuring The Patriot Brass Ensemble will be held at 7:30pm at Excursion Park (JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue). Dance and sing along to your patriotic favorites as you await the largest fireworks display at the Jersey Shore, launched off a barge near the 50th Street beach at 9pm. You can choose to keep your spot at Excursion Park or take your beach blankets and chairs and grab a spot in the sand. The spectacular display can be seen for miles.
In the event of inclement weather, a rain date and information will be provided via the “Rained Out” cancellation system and on the tourism website, visitsicnj.com. Anyone can register for event cancellation text messages by texting “sicalert” to “84483” on your smartphone, or by signing up for texts and emails on visitsicnj.com.
