Beach Classic Men’s Street Hockey Tourney

It’s time to dig out those old hockey sticks and helmets and get ready to compete! In this three-day street hockey tournament, you can enjoy the classic winter sport with a beach flair. There will be varying levels of skill, as well as men’s or co-ed games, in a round-robin format. Whether you are a hockey player or simply looking for a fun way to exercise, this is a great opportunity.

Rosary At Excursion Park

All members of the community are invited to spend a Friday morning in Excursion Park praying the Rosary with members of the St. Joseph Church while enjoying the warm summer weather and beachside views.

For Pete’s Sake (FPS) Cornhole Tournament
4-8pm, Excursion Park
All members of the community are encouraged to join in on this event, where you can show off your cornhole skills for a great cause. The Cornhole for Cancer tourney raises money for the For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, which gives direct support to the families in the FPS respite program who have been affected by cancer. Gather a group, head over to Excursion Park, and let the bags fly!

Sea Isle Ruggerfest

Hosted by Blackthorn RFC at Dealy Field, the Sea Isle Ruggerfest is back! The event is a four-decade tradition, with more than 20 games playing throughout the day for ruggers of all skill levels. Individual registration starts at 9:30am, and donations are encouraged. Whether you are a competitive player, or a casual player just looking for some exercise, the Ruggerfest will allow you to showcase your skills all day long!

Sandy Sprint Sea Isle City
8:30-10:30am, Excursion Park
Put on your running shoes and get ready to make a difference! Hosted by the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, this event has the goal of raising awareness of those affected by Ovarian Cancer and fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Research. Race-day fees are $40 for adults, and $30 for ages 12 and under. You can register as an individual or a team, and if running isn’t your thing, you can always donate to the foundation.

Shore Softball Classic

“Take me out to the ball game” and join Heyday Athletic for a Shore Softball Classic! The format will include a 10v10 co-ed game, with a cost of $320 per team. There will be prizes for the winning team, including long-sleeve championship shirts and Heyday signature pennants! If you’re interested, sign up soon as there are limited spots.

Sea Isle City Beach Patrol 1 Mile Ocean Swim

Calling all swimmers! The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol 1 Mile Ocean Swim returns this summer, and it’s time to sign up! Online preregistration is $20 (closes July 22 at 11pm), and race-day registration is $35. You can register as an individual or as a team.

Full Moon Beach Yoga

Roll out those yoga mats and get ready to ease your mind and soul! Led by certified yoga instructor Teri O’Connor, Full Moon Beach Yoga is an amazing opportunity to move your body and get some exercise under the stars. Sea Isle City Police Summer Camp

It is the mission of the Sea Isle City Police Department to provide a safe environment for all citizens and visitors, and it wants to share that mission with the community’s youth. The camp will have 25 spots for children, accompanied by Sea Isle City police officers and Cape Assist representatives. Participants will have fun learning about the police department as well as participating in physical activities. Lunch will be provided.

Guided Beachcombing (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
10-11am, 29th Street beach (Tuesdays), Townsends Inlet Park (Thursdays) • June 29-Sept. 2
Kick off the month of July with some fun treasure-hunting on the beach! Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, beachgoers of all ages can come search the beach for washed-up treasures and unique items, all while learning about the unique ecosystem along the beach.

Junior Lifeguard Program – Ages 14-17 (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
10:30am-1pm, 44th Street beach • July 22-Aug. 10
Run by the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol, the Junior Lifeguard Program will allow teens to learn about the duties of a lifeguard. They will focus on basic lifesaving skills and rescue techniques for prospective beach patrol employees. There is a fee of $25 per applicant, and junior lifeguards who are 16 or older and at the advanced level may be selected for employment with the beach patrol upon graduating the program. Make sure to bring a towel, running shoes, sunblock, water, and needed medications.
