Summer is flying by, and I find myself already wondering where the time went. We have now hit the part of the summer where it’s just too hot to do anything unless you are in the water.

Two years ago, I had the honor of sitting on the Ocean City High School football field as the district feted the school’s class of 2021. Also included were some old folks who had graduated 50 years earlier, the class of 1971.

This summer season marks the 100th year of Trinity Community Church’s petite presence at 85th Street and Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City. As always, the wee church lets its voice be heard with the peal of its church bell before services on Sunday mornings.

Imagine you’re biting into tender, sweet lobster claw and knuckle meat, and as the luscious warm butter drips over the hot toasted bun, you could almost swear you’re in the state of Maine savoring a scrumptious lobster roll.

The Flyers Community Caravan made a stop in Sea Isle City on July 20. Sea Isle was one of only seven stops the Flyers scheduled for this, the seventh year for the caravan.

The beer-chugging contests began at 9am. The fundraising lasted all day long. And the Ocean Drive was THE place to be on Wednesday, June 28, when Eagles five-time All-Pro center Jason Kelce hosted his 3rd Annual Celebrity Bartending Event to benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation.

Summer is in full swing, and that means hotter days and nights are coming our way. Between the ocean, the bay, and aqua parks, there are many ways to keep cool on the days when the temperature just keeps rising.

The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium conducts an annual poll in which the public votes for its favorite beach in the state, and in the coastal towns in Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean, and Monmouth counties.

Logan David Gousha was born March 14 to parents Alissa Valeriano and Dylan Gousha, of Marlton. At birth, Logan weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20½ inches long.
